Over the past two years we have have managed to produce thirty episodes. Can you believe it? THIRTY!
We’ve gone through a couple studio moves, gone on site to record our episodes and generally had a great time. It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the end of the Digital Crockpot.
What does this mean? Mostly that we will not be producing any new episodes. Existing episodes will remain available through iTunes and also on the website for as long as we have the domain.
We would like to thank everyone who listened to the show, and helped us make this a reality.
We’re back with a mid-summer show! How’s your summer going? Ours is busy with new jobs and staying cool in the heat.
We have a new guest popping in for this show, Opal Proudlove. Scott’s wife felt the show needed a female voice again. Who knows? Maybe we can talk her into coming for another one after the post traumatic stress clears up from this one? Everybody send her fan mail and maybe we can convince her to come back for another!
Jerry Nelson, Voice of The Count from Sesame Street Passes Away at 78 …. 78 Glorious years…Mwah ha ha ha! <Thunder sound>
Jerry Nelson, voice of many of our favourite characters from Sesame Street and other Jim Henson muppets passed away on August 23, 2012. Lisa Henson, CEO of The Jim Henson Company said in a statement: ‘Jerry Nelson imbued all his characters with the same gentle, sweet whimsy and kindness that were a part of his own personality. He was forced to retire from operating Muppet characters in 2004, but continued to voice the Count until his death.
New Mafia Based Cartoon to be based in Regina – Al Capone Eat your Heart Out!
Called Fugget About It, the show follows the misadventures of Jimmy and his family when they’re relocated from New York to Regina after Jimmy throws his mob boss out of a 19th floor window. One of the shows creators, Willem Wennekers, is a Calgary native who studied at the University of Regina’s film and video department. The show is slated to premier in the Fall of 2012.

Bill-C311 amends the 1928 Importation of Intoxicating Liquors Act, decriminalizing direct-to-home interprovincial wine sales in quantities deemed reasonable for personal consumption. Since the original article was researched, the bill was passed and personal consumption amount of wine are allowed to be shipped inter-provincially.
